Portland General Store was created by Lisa Brodar.

Lisa also holds a BFA in Illustration. She is an artist, soapmaker, weaver, knitter, candlemaker, and still learning new crafts. You can find her products available for purchase on this site. Regarding her soap and bath recipes, Lisa NEVER uses the microwave to heat her products, as the process of microwaving not only removes nutrients, but is also a very "peak oil" concept. She also uses pure, all natural, and organic ingredients when possible, avoiding the use of harsh ingredients and chemicals. Many of her skincare products are made for very sensitive skin, but can be used by anyone.

Portland General Store will eventually offer quality goods and tools made by other local crafts people under the PGS brand.
